Genesis Hukuk has ensured that this document adheres to applicable legal standards and best practices, providing a clear framework for the use of the Story Ship application. By using the App, you agree to the terms set forth in this document, which have been carefully prepared to protect both users and Rota101 Studios.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Story Ship application (“App”), a product developed by Rota101 Studios. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Story Ship is a product of Rota101 Studios ("we," "us," or "our").
Genesis Hukuk provides legal support for these Terms and related policies.
References to “you” or “user” refer to any individual or entity accessing or using the App.
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
The Story Ship App is designed for general audiences, including children. Howevera, due to the nature of online applications and compliance with local laws:
Users under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) must have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the App and ensuring compliance with these Terms.
The App should not be used by unsupervised minors.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App is in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in your country or region.If accessing or using the App is prohibited in your jurisdiction, you must refrain from using it.
To ensure the safety and well-being of children, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
Misrepresenting your identity or providing false information during registration or while using the App.
Allowing unauthorized individuals to use your account, especially unsupervised minors.
Certain features or functionalities of the Story Ship App may require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You must promptly update your account information if it changes.
If you are under the age of 18 (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and any other login credentials (“Account Credentials”).
You agree not to share your Account Credentials with anyone else, especially minors who should be supervised by a parent or guardian. Any activity performed under your account is your responsibility, whether or not you authorized it.
You agree to immediately notify Rota101 Studios at [rota101studios@gmail.com] if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or Account Credentials.
Rota101 Studios is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your Account Credentials, whether such use occurs with or without your knowledge.
Rota101 Studios reserves the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your account at any time if we have reason to believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting [rota101studios@gmail.com]. Upon deletion, your license to use the App will immediately terminate, and any data associated with your account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Unless expressly permitted by Rota101 Studios, you may not create multiple accounts or create accounts on behalf of others. If we discover multiple accounts by the same individual, we reserve the right to disable or terminate those accounts.
For accounts created for or accessed by children, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising the child’s use of the App and ensuring that any information provided during registration is accurate.
We encourage parents and guardians to monitor children’s activity and set appropriate controls, especially regarding account credentials and in-app purchases.
In compliance with child protection regulations (including but not limited to COPPA in the United States, and GDPR Article 8 in the EU), we require verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing any personal information from children under 13.
We may obtain verifiable consent through methods such as emailing the parent or legal guardian and requiring a response, credit card verification, or other forms of verification permissible under applicable law.
During the registration flow for a child’s account or whenever we need personal data from a child, the parent or guardian will be prompted to complete a verification process.
By completing this process, the parent or guardian confirms their identity and authorizes the child’s use of the App under their supervision.
Content Restrictions: Parents or guardians may have the ability to restrict certain features within the Story Ship App, such as disabling in-app purchases, filtering certain story categories, or limiting usage duration.
Monitoring Activity: We encourage parents and guardians to periodically review the child’s account settings and monitor story selections, AI-generated images, and other in-app activities to ensure they meet family preferences and values.
Parents or guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at [rota101studios@gmail.com]. Upon withdrawal, we will promptly disable the child’s access to features that require personal data and delete any personal information collected from the child, unless further retention is required by law.
If you withdraw consent, certain features of the App that rely on personal data may become unavailable or limited.
Parents or guardians are solely responsible for managing in-app purchases made through their child’s account or device.
We recommend enabling device-level parental controls or password protection to prevent unauthorized purchases.
Rota101 Studios is not liable for any charges incurred as a result of unsupervised or unauthorized in-app purchases by minors.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor or review interactions and content generated by minors for safety or compliance purposes.

Parents or guardians are responsible for understanding local laws regarding children’s use of online services. If laws in your jurisdiction require additional steps or different minimum ages, you must comply with those requirements.
If local laws prohibit children from using the App without specific governmental or parental authorization, you must refrain from allowing them to access the App until such authorization is obtained.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted, unless otherwise stated.

The stories, typically around 10 pages, are developed using advanced AI-powered image generation and storytelling technology. Language Support: The App currently supports three languages, with plans to expand in the future.

Parental Controls: Certain features may include parental settings or guidance prompts to ensure appropriate usage for younger audiences.

The App does not guarantee factual accuracy in any content.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice. Updates may be provided to improve functionality or address bugs. Users are encouraged to keep their App updated for the best experience.
Some features of the Story Ship App may be in beta or early access. These features are provided for testing and feedback purposes only and may have limited functionality or undergo significant changes. Rota101 Studios does not guarantee the availability, performance, or final inclusion of beta features in the App.
The Story Ship App may rely on third-party services or APIs, including but not limited to AI tools, analytics platforms, or payment processors. Rota101 Studios is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or security of these third-party services. Any disruptions or issues caused by these third-party services are beyond our control, and users are encouraged to review the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers.
Inclusion or integration of third-party services (e.g., AI image-generation tools, analytics, payment gateways) does not imply endorsement by Rota101 Studios. We assume no responsibility for their actions, content, or policies. Any disputes or issues arising from use of third-party services must be addressed directly with those providers.
By using the Story Ship App, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Access and use the App on compatible devices.
View, read, or listen to the stories generated by the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The following activities are strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Rota101 Studios:
Reproduction or Distribution: You may not copy, distribute, publish, or publicly display any content, including stories, images, or materials generated by the App.
Modification or Derivation: Altering, modifying, or creating derivative works based on the content or features of the App is prohibited.
Commercial Use: The stories, visuals, and content are exclusively for personal use and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
Removal of Proprietary Notices: Any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices must not be removed, obscured, or altered.
Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to access the source code of the App is strictly forbidden.
All content, including but not limited to the stories, illustrations, software, and designs, is the sole property of Rota101 Studios and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you do not acquire ownership rights to any content or intellectual property provided through the App.
If the App allows users to contribute content (e.g., reviews, comments, or custom story prompts):
You retain ownership of your contributions but grant Rota101 Studios a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the App.
You are responsible for ensuring your contributions do not violate any laws, third-party rights, or these Terms.
We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, review, or remove any user-generated content that we deem, in our sole discretion, to violate these Terms.
Unauthorized use of the App or its content may result in the termination of your license and access to the App.

Rota101 Studios respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Story Ship App to do the same. If you believe that any content available on the App infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or other applicable copyright laws.

A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property that you claim has been infringed.

Rota101 Studios reserves the right to terminate user accounts that are found to repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
By using the Story Ship App, you agree to use it responsibly and in compliance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
Violate Laws - Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Infringe Rights - Engage in activities that infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of Rota101 Studios or third parties.
Upload Harmful Content - Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code that could disrupt or compromise the App’s functionality or data.
Interfere with Operations - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or any connected systems.
Misuse Features - Exploit or misuse any feature of the App, including attempts to bypass restrictions on use or accessing premium content without proper authorization.
Commercial Use - Use the App’s content, including stories and images, for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from Rota101 Studios.
To foster a positive and safe experience for all users, you agree to:
Use the App in accordance with its intended purposes as outlined in these Terms.
Ensure that children using the App are appropriately supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
Report any technical issues, security breaches, or inappropriate content through the channels provided.
If the App includes any community features or allows user feedback:
Users must interact respectfully and refrain from posting offensive, abusive, or discriminatory content.
Feedback or suggestions provided to Rota101 Studios may be used to improve the App without any obligation to compensate the user for their input.
Rota101 Studios reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, for any violation of this section.
Users found engaging in prohibited conduct may face additional legal action, as applicable under relevant laws.
Rota101 Studios reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
Restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
Remove or modify content that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to our users or reputation.
Investigate and take legal action for any violations of these Terms or misuse of the App.

By using the Story Ship App, you accept the risks associated with the use of AI-generated content and agree to use your discretion when interpreting or sharing such content.
While we endeavor to ensure that our AI algorithms produce safe and suitable content, AI processes may occasionally result in unintended or biased output. Rota101 Studios disclaims liability for any such unintended or biased content.
We encourage users to report any content that appears potentially harmful, offensive, or infringing. We reserve the right to remove or modify AI-generated content at our discretion.
Our AI is designed and monitored to avoid inappropriate topics or depictions. However, the AI may still generate unexpected references or imagery. We request that parents or guardians promptly report any such content so we can improve our filters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rota101 Studios, Genesis Hukuk, and any affiliated individuals or entities shall not be liable for:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROTA101 STUDIOS AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU (IF ANY) FOR ACCESSING THE SERVICES DURING THE SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
By using the Story Ship App, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rota101 Studios, Genesis Hukuk, and their affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
Your breach of these Terms.
Your misuse of the App, including unauthorized use of its content.
Any violation of applicable laws or regulations in connection with your use of the App.
Content you submit, post, or share via the App, if applicable.
The indemnification applies to claims resulting from:
Intellectual property infringement.
Defamation, privacy violations, or misuse of third-party rights.
Misrepresentation or fraud committed by you in connection with the App.
If Rota101 Studios or Genesis Hukuk is involved in a legal dispute arising from your actions, you agree to:
Cooperate fully with any requests for information or assistance.
Not settle any claim without prior written consent from Rota101 Studios or its legal representatives.
The obligations under this section shall not apply to the extent any claim, liability, or damage arises from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Rota101 Studios or Genesis Hukuk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Story Ship App, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:
Violation of these Terms.
Unauthorized use of the App or its content.
Any action that disrupts or harms the App’s functionality or reputation.
Failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations while using the App.
You may discontinue using the App at any time by:
Deleting the App from your device.
Ceasing all use of the App and its content.
Upon termination of your access to the App:
All licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
You must delete any content or materials obtained through the App that are not authorized for continued use.
Any provisions in these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
If your access is terminated due to a breach of these Terms, reinstatement may be granted at our sole discretion and only after the breach has been remedied to our satisfaction.
Rota101 Studios, Genesis Hukuk, and their affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from the termination of your access to the App.
These Terms, and any disputes or claims arising from or related to their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Story Ship App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local laws in the jurisdiction from which you access or use the App. If the use of the App, its content, or features is prohibited by law in your jurisdiction, you must refrain from using it. Rota101 Studios is not liable for any violations of local laws or regulations resulting from unauthorized access to or use of the App.
To resolve disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner, you and Rota101 Studios agree to the following process:
Negotiation: In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally through written communication within 30 days.
Mediation: If negotiation fails, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation, conducted by a neutral third party in Istanbul, Turkey.
Litigation: If mediation does not resolve the dispute, either party may initiate formal legal proceedings in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
You agree to resolve disputes with Rota101 Studios on an individual basis. Class actions, group arbitrations, or any similar procedures are expressly waived.
Notwithstanding the above, Rota101 Studios reserves the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or enforce these Terms.
Any claims or disputes arising under these Terms must be brought within one (1) year from the date the claim or cause of action arose, unless a longer period is required by Turkish law.
In the event of a dispute, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs incurred during the resolution of the dispute, unless prohibited by Turkish law.
The Story Ship App may offer additional features, content, or services available for purchase within the App (“In-App Purchases”).
Payments for In-App Purchases are processed through the respective platforms:
Apple App Store: Subject to Apple’s payment terms and conditions.
Google Play Store: Subject to Google Play’s payment terms and conditions.
By making an In-App Purchase, you authorize the applicable platform (Apple or Google) to charge the payment method associated with your account.
All billing and transaction details are managed by the respective platform, and we do not have access to or store your payment information.
Depending on your regions, you might want to note that local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) might be added, and that such additions are handled by the platform (Apple, Google) where relevant.
Refund requests for In-App Purchases must be directed to the respective platform (Apple or Google) and are subject to their policies.
Rota101 Studios does not directly process refunds or provide guarantees regarding refunds for In-App Purchases.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for managing In-App Purchases made by minors. We strongly recommend enabling parental controls on your device to prevent unauthorized transactions.
Prices for In-App Purchases are displayed within the App and may vary by region due to currency differences, taxes, or platform fees.
Rota101 Studios reserves the right to change pricing, offers, or availability of In-App Purchases without prior notice.
In-App Purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or platform policy.
Purchased content or features are intended for personal use only and are tied to the account used for the purchase.
Upon completing a purchase, the digital content or feature will be made available for use within the App. Delivery times may vary depending on internet connectivity or technical issues.
Rota101 Studios is not liable for unauthorized purchases made through your account or device. It is your responsibility to secure your account and payment methods.
Rota101 Studios does not guarantee that In-App Purchases will always remain available or operational and reserves the right to modify or discontinue specific features or content.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements explicitly referenced, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rota101 Studios regarding your use of the Story Ship App. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
The failure of Rota101 Studios to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Rota101 Studios.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from Rota101 Studios. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Rota101 Studios shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, or technical disruptions.
You agree to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations in Turkey and your local jurisdiction. You represent that you are not located in a country or territory subject to trade sanctions or restrictions under Turkish law.
